  1.                            Help for Game Inquiries
  2.  
  3. This feature permits you to do a search, in the current game area, for
  4. certain parameters. You can view the stats and/or download the games
  5. compiled in the stats to view in your offline chess editor. 
  6.  
  7. Options:  [D]ate   :  Collects games with this date and after. Games
  8.                       with dates prior to this are ignored. Leave
  9.                       blank for all dates.
  10.           [P]layer :  Enter a player's name, to collect games only
  11.                       in which this player is involved. Leave blank
  12.                       for all players.
  13.           [G]ame   :  You can enter a single game or a range of game
  14.                       numbers. For a single game, enter the game number
  15.                       for both the starting and ending value. To collect
  16.                       games from a single game number through the end,
  17.                       leave the ending game number blank. Leaving both
  18.                       blank collects all.
  19.           [S]tatus :  There are three choices, [A]ctive, [C]ompleted or
  20.                       [B]oth. Blank defaults to [B].

  22. note-> The above options can be used in any combination to obtain stats.

  24.           [V]iew   :  Displays and prepares the stats from the above 
  25.                       parameters for viewing and/or downloading.
  26.           [R]eceive:  This permits downloading of the games collected
  27.                       in the inquiry. Upon selecting this option, a
  28.                       list of selectable transfer protocols will be
  29.                       displayed. The download archive will be in the
  30.                       *.lzh format.
  31.           Format   :  This permits the selection of your choice of 
  32.                       offline game viewer/editor. ChessMAGIC! will 
  33.                       format the downloaded game files accordingly.
  34.                       The default is (1) CMReader. Select (2) for
  35.                       Chessmaster 3000.

  37.                       *Chessmaster3000 - When importing use the 
  38.                                          "coordinate" move type.
  39.                       The download file name will be in the following
  40.                       format:   CMDLxxxx.EXE 
  41.                                 where xxxx = a random number
  42.  
  43.                       The game files themselves, will have a filename
  44.                       corresponding to the game number and the extension
  45.                       of .TXT.

  47.           [H]elp   :  This screen.
  48.           [Q]uit   :  Quit to the main menu.

  50. Leaving all fields blank will provide the same information as option "J"
  51. from the main menu, with the inclusion of active games.

  53. Download Archive
  54. ================
  55. The games are archived in the *.exe format. The game filename will be
  56. in the following format->  12.txt
  57.  
  58.          where  12  = the game number or file name
  59.          where  txt = is the file extension
  60.  
  61. The download archive will be in the following format-> CMDLxxxx.EXE. This
  62. is a self-extracting archive. Running this file will extract the games.
  63.  
  64.          where cmdlxxxx =  the file name - xxxx is a unique number.
  65.          where exe      = the archive file extension.
